Become a FOCUS interviewer

Do you enjoy meeting people? Get paid well for it!

High-quality research begins with a well-conducted interview. Without skilled and reliable interviewers, therefore, no research could take place. We are looking for new colleagues to join our nationwide network of interviewers for long-term collaboration. You will participate in market research, public opinion polls, and sociological studies. You’ll meet new people, gain interesting experience, and work on projects whose results help companies, institutions, and public organizations make better decisions. This is not about selling or promoting products or services. Your task will be to conduct interviews with respondents and record their answers.

Why Become an Interviewer?

  • You can adjust your work schedule to fit your availability. Within the timeframe of a specific project, you decide for yourselves when to conduct the survey.
  • You can work near where you live. We offer projects based on the locations where you can work.
  • You can also explore new places. If you enjoy traveling, you can also get involved in projects in more remote locations.
  • You’ll be interacting with people. Every conversation brings new ideas, experiences, and perspectives on the world.
  • You’ll learn more about interesting topics. Our research focuses on consumer behavior, public opinion, and current social issues.
  • Every project is different. The topics, settings, and groups of respondents are changing.
  • You’ll gain new experiences. You’ll improve your communication skills, conversation skills, and ability to work with digital questionnaires.
  • You won’t be alone on the job. We’ll train you before each project, and our coordinators will be available to assist you throughout the survey process.
What does the job of a pollster entail?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • conducting face-to-face interviews with respondents using a prepared questionnaire,
  • recording responses on a laptop or tablet,
  • active search for suitable respondents based on the specifications of a specific project,
  • adherence to the specified selection of respondents, methodology, and research timeline,
  • Verification of the completeness and accuracy of the recorded responses.

Face-to-face interviews can take place, for example:

  • in the respondents’ homes,
  • on streets and in public spaces,
  • in companies and institutions,
  • in stores and shopping centers,
  • at cultural, athletic, or social events,
  • in research studies involving the testing of advertisements, products, or new concepts.

Depending on your experience and capabilities, you can also get involved in other types of projects:

  • mystery shopping, in which you pose as a regular customer and evaluate the quality of the services provided,
  • recruiting participants for focus groups, individual interviews, user testing, and other qualitative research.
